California Superbike School’s newest venue is the Bedford Autodrome, part of the MSV group of circuits, and we’ve been to the 384-acre site near Thurleigh in Bedfordshire to snoop around the facility ahead of the 2019 season. The 1.8-mile West Circuit with its 12 corners will host the four levels in the California Superbike School curriculum. The advantages for this track-based school is the width of the track, the opportunity to see so far ahead but also the depth of run-off. The circuit was designed with track training and corporate events in mind as opposed to spectator-bias facilities such as grandstands close to the track.
