Suzuki’s GSX-S1000F is an all-new sports tourer with the emphasis very much on the word sports. We’re currently over on the Isle of Man at the bike’s European launch riding it for the first time. Here are our first impressions.
Suzuki introduced the GSX-S1000F as a sports bike for riders looking for something a little different. It has a slightly more upright seating position so the rider is less crouched than they would be on a sports bike like the GSX-R1000.
We’ve only had an hour or so on the bike, so it’s early days but it seems Suzuki have made an incredibly easy to ride, fast, capable road bike. We’ve just got out on to the TT course and the engine delivers great mid-range and the handling is really easy to get on with.
We had our knee down on the first photoshoot corner so that shows how good the handling is! I’m looking forward to getting around the rest of the course on this bike, can’t wait to hit the mountain!
