Ducati’s 2015 roadshow gets underway in Ireland this week kicking off a 19-location tour for the Italian marque’s demonstrator fleet.
The first roadshow will take place this Saturday at the Rosso dealership in Dublin before moving North for Sunday at Millsport in Ballymoney.
With Ducati’s event truck and full demo fleet at each venue, riders can enjoy extended test rides up to 90 minutes long on all the latest Ducati machinery.
Headlining the fleet is the all-new Panigale 1299 which, according to Bike Social’s Marc Potter, is “as beautiful as any other production motorcycle, even the award-winning 1199 it has evolved from, yet manages to harness that craziness beneath its flowing Italian curves and will give you one of the most-memorable rides of your life”.
Also available to test is the 2015 Multistrada 1200 DVT, which the press will be let loose on this weekend in Lanzarote meaning those attending the first two roadshows in Dublin and Ballymoney will be among the first people to ride the new adventure bike.
Demonstration rides now give an extensive period of time to evaluate the bikes with accompanied test rides lasting up to one and half hours taking in a variety of roads and conditions to fully assess the bikes capabilities. Pillion riders may also join in the test rides.
Ducati’s Diavel, Hyperstrada and 899 Panigale are also on the fleet as are the 1200 and 821 Monsters for those looking for something naked!
To take a test ride at any of these events, riders must have a valid motorcycle licence (both parts required) and appropriate clothing and safety gear. Local dealership staff will be on hand to give expert technical, sales and service advice and trained riders will be there to guide all test rides.
