Silence has added a new flagship variant to its electric scooter range with the launch of the new Silence S01+.
Based on the Silence S01 Connected trim, the new S01+ is the performance equivalent of a 125cc motorcycle with the choice of a 5.6kW and 7.5kW, which are available with the addition of a ‘Sport’ mode, complete with a ‘push to pass’ mode to allow for a boost of speed to assist with overtaking.
To complement its top-of-the-range billing, the Silence S01+ adds adjustable suspension, Galfer ventilated brake discs and a smattering of exterior design cues, including a contrast texture seat, red detailing and Anthracite grey paint.
Pitched as a modern and premium specification to rivals, such as the Super Soco CPx and NIU MQ GTS, the Silence S01+ adds Apple and Android connectivity for mobile phone devices, including Google Maps embedding.
“Silence is a stylish and practical alternative to combustion bikes, whether you’re an individual, or business user,” said Tony Lewis, co-founder of Silence UK.
“Now with S01+, we’re adding extra sports style, for those who want their Silence to stand out from the crowd. Production of the S01+ is available in limited numbers so it’s very much first come first served!”
One of the UK’s most popular electric scooters - a segment of the PTW market that is multiplying ahead of a full shift towards electric power over the next 10 to 15 years, the price for the Silence S01+ is priced at £6,795.
