The Magnificent 10 biking deals of the week

What are the best motorcycle and kit deals and discounts available right now?

Continuing our regular weekly guides to current biking offers and bargains, we’ve been scouring the marketplace – so you don’t have to! And, we’re adding USED bikes, too!

Save £6000 on a BMW R18 Classic

BMW launched its impressive, all-new boxer twin powered R 18 cruiser range in 2020 and soon after spun it off into a family of bikes including the full-dress Transcontinental, bagger R 18 B and Road King style Classic. All are fine bikes with glorious build quality and detailing but it’s still possible to find unsold brand-new examples being offered with big dealer discounts – as is the case here. Sycamore BMW of Peterborough, for example, is currently offering a brand new, unregistered 2024 R 18 Classic with a whopping £6000 off so taking it down from the usual £21,785 to now just £15,785.

Save £4204 on this Kawasaki Ninja EV

How about this for a brand-new bike that currently benefits massively from a big dealer discount? Kawasaki’s Ninja EV was launched last year as one of the first credible electric motorcycles from the Japanese ‘Big Four’. A sporty, 125cc equivalent machine it has a lot going for it apart from its £8199 price, which is getting on for double that of petrol equivalents. Greenham Kawasaki, however, are currently offering one with a full £4204 off so taking it down to just £3995 – that’s a saving of over 50%

Get £2651 off this Aprilia Tuono V4

If a cut price BMW cruiser or discounted Japanese electric bike don’t appeal then they probably don’t get much more enticing than Italian exotica specialists’ Aprilia’s exotic but real-world relevant super naked, the Tuono V4, the more comfortable, affordable base version – and this one’s a bargain, too. It’s currently being offered by OnYerBike of Aylesbury who are currently offering one, 0-mile, unregistered example in grey with a full £2651 off so taking it down from its usual price of £15,560 to now cost just £12,999

Get £1500 off a Honda NT1100

While finally for this week, a bike with a big dealer discount that’s neither exotic, electric nor a cruiser but makes a brilliant all-round mile-muncher. Honda’s Africa Twin-derived NT1100 tourer may not be particularly sporty but it’s comfortable, worthy, extremely practical and can also be found with Honda’s novel DCT semi-automatic gearbox. As it has been mildly updated and facelifted for 2025 dealers are sometimes keen to offload unsold 2024 stock, as is the case here. Dealer Doble is offering one fully loaded white example with a useful £1500 off, so taking its price down from £13,598 to just £12,098

It’s being offered by used bike specialists Superbike Factory, is a 2016 example in gleaming, unmarked white and has a very reasonable 22,095 miles under its wheels. Best of all, it’s just been reduced by a further £1386 as part of its ‘Price Match’ promotion which takes its asking price down from the previous £8495 to now just £7099 which make it an awful lot of bike for not very much money at all.

Phoenix Motorcycle Training’s Machine Control Day course aims to give riders greater confidence when it comes to manual handling and controlling their bike. Taking place at a variety of locations around the UK and lasting about seven hours, the Machine Control Day starts with manual handling of your bike and includes things such as moving a stationary bike and turning it. This mastered, you will progress to slow riding techniques (figure of eight, slalom etc) and then the principles and practice of counter steering before a break for lunch.

The first part of the afternoon session is spent polishing up on your precision riding and balance before an assessed road ride with one of Phoenix Motorcycle Training’s PROskills coaches with both verbal and video feedback afterwards and a CPD certificate of attendance. It’s a full day of training and at just £129 for BikeSocial members is incredible value for money.
