Want to ride your Triumph Rocket 3 flat out?

Calling all Triumph Rocket 3 owners (or ‘Rocket III’, whatever your tipple), road legal or otherwise, or those just interested in a Rocket 3… how would you like to attend our event in conjunction with Triumph Motorcycles for as many high-speed runs as you fancy?

What?

We’re calling the event ‘Rocket Launch!’

BikeSocial and Triumph Motorcycles are inviting all Triumph Rocket 3 owners of any age, road legal or otherwise, to a disused 1.8-mile long airfield for a chance to run their bike flat-out.

Straightliners, the drag racing events experts, will use their immense experience to conduct the event with support from BikeSocial and Triumph. As the British marque celebrates 20 years of the Rocket 3 model, we’re inviting all owners to come and find out how fast they are on a 1.8-mile-long runway with official timing equipment at the ready.

The BikeSocial and Triumph teams will be on-site, so will a team of high-speed riding experts will be on hand to help with launches and body positions.

Free professional photos, as well as a commemorative printout of the registered speeds at ½ mile and one-mile intervals, and a unique sticker will form part of the record of your day.

Triumph Motorcycles will bring several of the latest generation Rocket 3 Storm models which can be booked for a trial on the day. See below for details.

Come on, how many opportunities will you get to feel what a bike that can accelerate from 0-60mph in less than 3-seconds and has twice as much torque as a superbike can do, legally?!

Where?

Elvington Airfield, Yorkshire, YO41 4AU. A former RAF base with a 1.8-mile runway hired exclusively for you.
